 I've been really stressed in the past few months ><
To a point that I couldn't sleep "properly" without a drink every night...
So my sweet thoughtful bf downloaded the fabulous "Tokyo Love Story" for me
he was hoping it would cheer me up
Unfortunately the ending was like a giant pigeon ...."crapping on my face"
it made me cry & cry & cry & cry & cry some more...

Martian Child is a very unique & "quiet" movie
- not much promotion, no car chases, no aliens, no special effects etc...
But I enjoyed this film very much!!!!!
 The story is simple, sweet,
refreshing and heartwarming...
{ A lonley widower, as well as a sci-fi best selling author,
adopt a very very very very strange child
who lives in a world of his own
- he hates sun, he steals from people around, he doesn't talk or smile often
& he's so convinced himself that he comes from Mars...}
John Cusack is amazing as usual & the little Martian kid is also wonderful!
It is interesting to see the progression of how they form a strong bond
& to feel the "transformation" of little Dennis from a troubled kid
who acts so strange to keep his distance with others
to a truly happy kid...
It is so true !!!
Sometimes we put up walls....
intentionally or subconsciously...
not to keep people out,

 . .. My latest guilty pleasure is watching Prison Break . ..-A TV show that wrapped in "an intelligent & creative package"!
So far I don't think I can give a fair review because I am quite addicted to the show,
plus the Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller)'s charm is almost "unbreakable"!

Well~ I am.
I like plants- green is always good to look at,
but I am so bad at taking care of plants
---coz I just have no idea how much water they need...
Wouldn't it be awesome if the plants can ask for water when they >>> thirsty?

 I am not exactly a big fan of jewellery or diamond etc, but I've always wanted a music jewellery box since I was very little.
Somehow I am really convinced that receiving a music jewellery box
from your speical someone is one of the greatest pleasures...
I guess that's because the childhood memory of my mum's look on her face
every time she opened her music box....
Although there was no jewellery in her box, she looked satisfied and happy...
Finally... I have my own little box now
even though it's not directly from you...

 They can create images/shadows different from what the objects are shadowing...for example:
a normal green houseplant turns into a plant with flowers,
stools become different chairs
or boxes turn into cats, computer becomes a radio...
The shadows disapprear after the sunset, and come back with even more surprises.

 Sony Bravia ads are surprising, creative & well-made.It seems to me they are continued to challenge people's perception of "the best".
The latest one "Play-doh" : with a bunch of multi-colour plasticine bunnies hopping on the street is incredible.

January 23 "Burn Notes into Breakfast"

I received a forward mail from my friend a long time ago.
I guess a lot of you probably have seen it somewhere before,
but it's still worth mentioning ~ coz it's just too cool~
Anyway, the forward email was about a new design of toaster.
What's amazing about this toaster is that:
there is a "message board" on top of the toaster; however this is not the final goal of the product.
  The concept of this creation is to allow you to write your message, and the message will get "toasted" into the toast itself.
This kinda reminds me an episode from Doraemon - Memmory Bread.
I remembered when I was preparing for exams in high school, especially science.
I almost pray for it to happen~

Since moving into the New House
 Today's a rainy day!
It's raining, dark and all miserable outside.
~The Fourth Day~
 I am feeling a lot better than I did yesterday
 althought the killer headache just don't go away, at least my "vision return to normal"
I used to hate taking pills, so unless I am on my "death-bed", I'll just stay sick. LOL
Anyway, I realize I dun really have the "luxurious time" to stay sick...
~So pretty much friends with Hot Water & Panadol now~ January 20 Back to Normal==The Ninth day ==
since moving into the New House
 So glad that everything seems back to normal
Finally, Telecom got the broadband connected~ YaY~
Its just so so so so so so so inconvenient without broadband these days~
For the fifth time, thanks to technology~
Unfortunately, I got a bit fever & extreme exhaustion.
I hate the cough, sneeze, snort, scratchy throat & sore muscles...
